Nothing so yum as a healthy breakfast or lunch filled with nature, made with love at De Sladerij. We came up with a name from the wordplay on 'Slagerij' (Dutch for 'butcher') and 'Sla' or 'Sladerij' which is the translation for 'stem lettuce'. The interior was designed with subtle elements of a traditional butchery (such as the white kitchen tiles, wood, meat hooks and neon light) combined with a good splash of vintage and new furniture. To give the brand more character we mainly use modernist typography next to handwritten lettering, perfect for communicating the salad, soup, dessert or drink of the day. Furthermore I've been doing all art direction, web design, packaging and posters.
